About Us
Who We Are
At OnlineCounselingDegrees.net, our goal is to create the most complete and honest resource for students interested in pursuing a counseling education that is also easy to use. We provide you with everything you need to make an informed decision regarding pursuing a counseling education. We not only give you the facts, figures and statistics regarding counseling education, but also personal anecdotes, experiences and advice about life after graduation.
Our site is built around a detailed expert discussion on counseling education and careers, that is refreshingly honest. Our resident expert, Brian Heller, systematically and thoroughly answers any questions you may have regarding the study of counseling or counseling careers, through this dialogue. He carefully brings light to the issues you should be aware of before you decide to pursue a degree or certificate in counseling. By doing so, Brian Heller helps ensure that if you decide to study counseling, you will know exactly what to expect. A Question & Answers database is maintained by Brian Heller in order to add to the conversation on counseling.
We also provide you with an exclusive aptitude test to help you analyze how suited you are for a career in counseling. Our 10 question quiz is specifically formulated to help you compare your strengths and weakness with those necessary for a successful career in counseling.
Our site also features 6 counseling student, professor and professional interviews. These interviews are aimed at providing you with crucial insight into both counseling education and counseling jobs. We even have a special video interview with Lindsay Morris, a school counselor, who shares with you experiences and valuable advice based on her personal educational and career journey.
